Why “Essential” Japanese?

Studying “I am a lawyer” will not help much when you are trying to order ramen, find the right train, or ask a simple question at a convenience store.
You just need the essentials that make your journey smoother and help you avoid awkward moments.

If this is your second trip, let’s make it much better than your first. Break the silence and start connecting.

This is for…

First-Time Visitors

You are going to Japan soon and want to know what to say at airports, stations, restaurants, hotels, and shops — including how to read simple signs and menus.

Nervous Speakers

You do not want to rely only on Google Translate, but you also do not want to study heavy textbook Japanese.

Second-Time Travelers

You have been to Japan before, but this time you want to speak more, connect more, and enjoy the trip on a deeper level.

Conversation Learners

You want to learn Japanese mainly through simple, natural conversation while also picking up useful grammar along the way.
